The Zoom H6 essential recorder gives you the quality and flexibility you need for your sound recording. An ideal ally for content creators, it features 6 32-bit tracks and 4 microphone inputs on XLR/Jack 6.35mm combo sockets.
The H6e is powered by an AD-17 power supply (not supplied) or by 4 AA batteries (not supplied), which provide up to 18 hours of autonomy. For ideal backup of your recordings, this model accepts microSDXC cards up to 1 TB.
Switch to 32-bit floating point
With 32-bit floating point and dual A/D converters, the H6essential can capture a huge dynamic range. Creators can record perfect, clipless sound every time.
The 4 mixed XLR/TRS inputs feature Zoom’s ultra-clean preamps, and the included X/Y microphones can handle sound pressure levels of up to 135dB SPL – the equivalent of a jet taking off.
High-performance capture system
The H6essential’s Capsule System 3.0 has been updated to support 32-bit floating point, giving designers more mic choices to use the one best suited to their recording. When the X/Y mic is not required, detach the capsule and use the included cap for a discreet setup.
The H6essential is a truly portable studio. Capture up to 4 instruments using the XLR inputs and use the X/Y microphones for superb stereo recording of the whole ensemble.
Thanks to the built-in LCD screen, the H6essential has a waveform display so you can see your sound while recording.
