Participant positioning technology
Using positioning data provided by voice and camera, Yamaha SoundCap Eye technology locates participants to provide a seamless and immersive tracking experience. The 4K camera tracks the physical location of the participants while the hexa-microphone tracks the location of the audio source to provide accurate facial positioning for seamless dual capture. By focusing solely on the voices in the camera frame, the technology can better determine the location of the participant and block out unwanted background noise in potentially noisy environments such as open workspaces.
Hexa-microphone
The microphone is arranged in a hexagonal array that creates a three-dimensional microphone array to more accurately capture words spoken during conversations to reproduce clearer and more accurate sound than common video soundbars.
Innovative technologies
The CS Series’ built-in 4K camera not only provides clear images, but also analyses the captured images with AI to continuously track the faces of meeting participants. Face Focus Beamforming technology leverages this camera’s AI and hexa-microphone, suppresses noise from directions other than the person captured in the camera, and clearly captures the voices of meeting participants. With the auto-mute feature, the soundbar mutes the microphone when participants are not speaking. Participants can also count on a smooth conversation without any noise, whether they are speaking or not. In addition, with the Auto Volume Equaliser function, the CS-800 soundbars automatically adjust the volume according to the ambient noise to maintain an appropriate sound level at all times. The face-focused beamforming function recognises who is speaking in the room and automatically frames the video signal for remote participants.
