Available in 10TB, 12TB and 14TB capacities, the DC HC500 Series can be used for enterprise servers, backup systems, cloud and enterprise NAS that require 512-byte (512e) sector size for high performance and high density storage with HelioSeal technology.
Designed for data centresThe Ultrastar DC HC520 features multi-axis shock sensor technology that automatically detects and compensates for even the smallest shocks to protect the data stored on the Ultrastar DC HC520, and is equipped with RAID-specific features such as error recovery time that is reduced through the hard drive’s error recovery processes. Ramp load/unload technology moves the recording heads away from the platters when the drive is not in use and when powering down, ensuring less wear and tear on the recording heads and media. |
