The TP-LINK TL-WN722N Wi-Fi N USB Flash Drive allows you to connect a desktop or laptop computer to a wireless network and connect to the broadband Internet. Compliant with IEEE 802.11n standards, it provides wireless speeds of up to 150 Mbps, which is great for online gaming or even video streaming. Secure wireless connection through encryption can be established with a single press of the QSS (Quick Setup Security) button, protecting your network from external threats.
Wireless N – Speed and range
Based on IEEE 802.11n technology, the TL-WN722N further minimises data loss over long distances and through obstacles, whether in a small office or a large flat and even in concrete and steel construction.
Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) technology automatically avoids channel conflicts with its clear channel selection feature and takes full advantage of channel grouping benefits, dramatically improving wireless performance.
Removable external high-gain antenna.
The TL-WN722N includes an external high-gain 4 dBi antenna that can be rotated and adjusted in different directions to operate in various environments. It provides better performance than the internal antenna. For more demanding applications, the antenna can be replaced with other antennas to provide greater flexibility and wireless coverage.
QSS button: fast wireless encryption
Compatible with Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), the TL-WN722N features Quick Security Setup, which allows users to configure their network security almost instantly by pressing the router’s “QSS” button to automatically establish the connection in WPA2 secure mode, which is much more secure than WEP encryption. This security configuration is not only faster than normal methods, but it is also more convenient as you no longer need to memorise a password!
