Description
Boost your Wi-Fi network
TP-LINK’s RE550 is designed to extend the range of an existing Wi-Fi network to eliminate “dead spots”. Featuring AC1900 (AC1300 + N600) Wi-Fi technology, a compact size and one-piece design make it easier than ever to extend a Wi-Fi network.
Wi-Fi over a wide area
The RE550 connects to your router and extends the range of your Wi-Fi and reduces interference to ensure reliable coverage in your home. It can also operate in Access Point mode to take full advantage of the optimal signal without having to communicate with your box’s Wi-Fi, ideal if it offers limited speeds. The RE55 0 will replace the poor performance of your router or box.
Ultra-fast Wi-Fi
The RE550 benefits from the high-speed WiFi standard with 802.11ac which is 3 times faster than the N standard and delivers combined speeds of up to 1900 Mbps. With this bandwidth, it’s ideal for watching smooth HD videos, streaming music and enjoying online games. Make full use of the speed provided by the RE550 by using it in Access Point mode. In this case turn off the Wi-Fi from your box, and use only the RE550’s Wi-Fi signal to wirelessly cover several hundred square meters at full speed.
