Designed for NAS
Through discussions with NAS manufacturers, Toshiba recognised the need for high reliability drives that address today’s data storage and retrieval requirements, including streaming, backup and archiving. The drive, which can support multiple multi-RAID systems with up to 8 hard drives, enables reliable storage and use of large volumes of data by multiple clients 24/7.
Integrated VR sensors
Conventional hard drives without RV sensors can degrade the performance of a multi-bay NAS system by generating harmful vibration. N300 drives ensure high reliability by reducing vibration through monitoring and sensor technology. Numerous sensors detect even the slightest shock, and the built-in RV sensors compensate for rotational vibration, thus limiting the risk of harmful vibration in the multi-bay NAS system configuration.
