It offers both high performance and a scalable storage solution for cross-platform file sharing, centralized data backup and protection of critical assets.
The RS820+ incorporates multiple backup applications to protect your important data on all devices. It offers an intuitive user interface and uses durable storage technologies. It also features the Btrfs file system, which provides the most advanced storage technologies to meet the management needs of a modern business.
Designed for reliable service
The RS820+/RS820RP+ features four 1GbE LAN ports for link aggregation and failover support. Synology High Availability provides a reliable active/passive server cluster and maximizes service availability.
When Link Aggregation is enabled in a 10GbE environment, the RS820+/RS820RP+ provides high sequential throughput of more than 1621 MB/s read and 599 MB/s write. The storage capacity of the RS820+/RS820RP+ can be expanded with a Synology RX418 expansion unit.
