Access two M.2 PCIe SSDs simultaneously
The expansion card allows you to take full advantage of the fast performance and compact size of the internal M.2 PCIe SSDs. Once the M.2 PCIe drives are in place, the adapter increases your storage capacity and dramatically increases the speed of your computer, improving transfer speeds. The dual M.2 to PCIe expansion card uses a high-speed ASM2824 switch, allowing you to access two drives at once. Since the adapter card does not rely on the PCIe fork, it can easily be integrated into all systems, new and old. The M.2 PCI Express adapter also gives you the ability to access your M.2 PCIe SSDs individually. You can also use RAID software to create a RAID array to add redundancy or improve system performance.
The adapter connects directly to your computer’s motherboard to support two PCIe M.2 SSDs via a PCIe x8 expansion slot. The adapter is compatible with PCIe 3.0 motherboards and backwards compatible with PCIe 2.0 and PCIe 1.0. The M.2 PCIe NGFF (M key) adapter supports M.2 PCIe 3.0 NVMe and PCIe-AHCI SSDs, including 2242, 2260, and 2280 drives, supporting the most common drive sizes: 42, 60, and 80 mm. The expansion card comes with a pre-installed full-height bracket and includes a half-height/small footprint bracket for installation in small form factor computers. Ventilated brackets on the M.2 PCIe NGFF SSD Adapter Card increase airflow to help dissipate heat.
