TS-673A: NAS with Ryzen V1500B and 2.5 GbE LAN
The QNAP TS-673A is a 6-bay 2.5 inch/3.5″ NAS with plenty of room to grow and a rich connectivity offering. The TS-673A includes two 2.5 GbE ports and two PCIe Gen 3 x4 slots so you can easily deploy 5GbE / 10GbE network connectivity. Two PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD slots for Qtier technology and SSD cache allow for constant storage optimization. The TS-673A supports QTS and QuTS hero, allowing users to flexibly change operating systems according to their requirements.
High Performance AMD Ryzen Processor
The TS-673A is powered by a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B 2.2GHz V1000 series processor with up to 64GB of RAM and includes USB 3.1 ports for speeds up to 10Gbps. The TS-673A also features a USB 3.0 Type C port to support more devices to transfer large media files to other devices, giving you a more efficient workflow.
Switch operating systems
The TS-673A also supports QuTS hero – QNAP’s ZFS-based NAS operating system. Offering end-to-end data integrity, data reduction (inline deduplication, compression, and compaction), and more, QuTS hero uses additional system resources to ensure an optimal environment to protect business data.
QTS and QuTS hero use file systems. You must delete all disks from the TS-673A before switching from QTS to QuTS hero.
Easy and Secure File Management
File Station allows direct management of files stored on the TS-673A and in the cloud. Users can easily transfer files from their PC, drag and drop files between folders, rename/delete files, and set folder/file permissions to prevent unauthorized access. Microsoft Office Online can also be used to directly view/edit Microsoft Office documents stored on the TS-673A. Confidential/sensitive data can be encrypted for added security.
Install a graphics card
Graphics cards are optimised for graphics processing and calculations but require considerably more power than other hardware. The TS-673A includes PCIe slots to support high-profile graphics cards that do not require power cables, including NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics cards to boost the performance of applications such as video editing, 4K UHD transcoding, image processing in QTS, and virtual machine performance via GPU pass-through.
Build a Fibre Channel SAN environment
Common Fibre Channel SAN devices are often expensive. By installing a QNAP 16Gbps Fibre Channel card (QXP-16G2FC) in the TS-673A, you can set up a Fibre Channel Target using the iSCSI & Fibre Channel app. In addition, the LUN masking and port binding features provide an additional layer for your data security.
