The NH-U14S is a 14cm CPU heatsink. The specific, optimised design of the S version(only 52mm thick) ensures excellent compatibility with high-performance RAM modules that are often bulky. Designed around 6 imposing heatpipes and equipped with a 140mm NF-A15 PWM-compatible fan(offering automatic speed control), the Noctua NH-U12S takes the silent cooling performance of its famous predecessor even further.
Complete with the top-of-the-range SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, NT-H1 high-performance thermal paste and a full 6-year manufacturer’s warranty, the NH-U14S is an excellent solution for combining performance, silence and excellent compatibility.

Warning: because of its large dimensions, the fan may protrude into the first memory slot or the first PCI slot on some motherboards (particularly for formats smaller than ATX). A minimum ATX motherboard is therefore recommended for installation of this model. In line with Noctua’s policy of providing its top-of-the-range SecuFirm2 mounting systems free of charge, owners of eligible fan models will be able to order the NM-i17xx-MP78 kit free of charge once the motherboards and LGA 1700 CPUs are available. Proof of purchase (electronic version, photo or scan of invoice) of an eligible Noctua cooler and either a LGA 1700 motherboard or LGA 1700 CPU will be required.
