The NH-D9L is a top-of-the-range fan tray with dual finned coils, specially designed to deliver a high level of cooling despite a height of just 110mm. Its exceptionally small footprint (15 mm less than conventional 9cm models such as the NH-U9S) not only ensures full 3U compatibility, but also enables this model to integrate perfectly into the design of your system.HTPCs and enclosures with a reduced form factor, where the airflow runs parallel to the motherboard.
With a footprint of 95x95mm, the NH-DL9 does not encroach on memory slots or PCIe ports on all Intel ITX motherboards and most models for AMD. The included PWM-compatible NF-A9 fan automatically controls rotation speed, ensuring surprisingly quiet operation.
A second optional NF-A9 can also be installed, in Dual Mode, to meet any increased performance requirements. Complemented by the SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, a true top-of-the-range reference in the field, and the famous NT-H1 thermal paste, and backed by a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty, the NH-D9L is a highly compact premium solution ideal for restricted environments.
 | A low-profile tower fan While more compact fans generally blow perpendicular to the motherboard (at the front), the NH-D9L is a tower-type model that blows parallel to the motherboard. It therefore offers better ventilation performance in cases fitted with suction (front) and exhaust (rear) fans that create an airflow parallel to the motherboard. |  | Full RAM compatibility Thanks to its 95x95mm footprint, the NH-U9S does not encroach on the memory slots of current Intel and AMD motherboards. This gives full access to memory arrays and ensures total compatibility with high heatsinks and optional memory fans. |

 | PWM compatibility and Low Noise Adapter The NF-A9 92cm fan supplied with the NH-U9S is PWM compatible, enabling automatic speed control via the motherboard. What’s more, for even quieter operation, the maximum rotation speed can be capped from 2000 to 1550 rpm by using the L.N.A. adapter. |  | Dual Mode compatibility (Dual Ventilation) For users wishing to enhance cooling performance, the NH-U9L is supplied with an additional kit of clips for attaching an additional NF-A9 fan to the front finned battery.
