COLOURED ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNTS
The NF-S12A PWM chromax.black.swap comes with 4 NA-AVP1 anti-vibration mounts in black, white, red, green, blue or yellow. By combining different colours with black, or by choosing to leave one side of the fan without silencers, the fan can immediately be aesthetically harmonised with most popular colour themes.
The anti-stall protuberances reduce the phenomenon of flow separation that can occur at medium or high resistance. This feature improves the operating range without stall. As a result, the NF-S12A becomes even more versatile than its famous predecessor, offering even better performance for use on a ventirad or watercooling radiator.
STEPPED INLET DESIGN
Noctua’s stepped inlet design adds turbulence to the incoming flow, allowing a gradual transition from laminar to turbulent flow. This reduces initial noise emissions, improves flow cohesion and increases suction capacity, particularly in environments where space is at a premium.

Compatible with PWM automated speed control systems, the fans in the chromax line are equipped with the latest NE-FD1 PWM integrated circuit incorporating SCD (Smooth Commutation Drive) technology. By generating less abrupt torque pulses, the SCD system eliminates the noise associated with PWM switching, ensuring quieter ventilation at reduced speeds.
