Nine-blade design for enhanced pressure
Specially designed for environments where high pressure is required, such as CPU fans, water-cooled radiators or cases with narrow ventilation grilles, the NF-P12 PWM delivers outstanding pressure and high flow.
Vortex-Control slots
Noctua’s unique Vortex-Control slots disperse the vortexes developing at the tip of the blade and thus spread the sound emissions over a wider frequency range. This feature allows the NF-P12 PWM to generate a more pleasing sound to the human ear.
Exclusive PWM circuit with SCD
Enabling full automatic PWM speed control, the NF-P12 PWM uses the newly developed proprietary NE-FDI PWM circuitry that incorporates Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By promoting smoother torque pulses, SCD eliminates switching noise and allows the fan to run smoothly.

SSO-Bearing
By combining the proven principle of the hydrodynamic bearing with the addition of a supplementary magnet that enhances the stabilisation of the rotor axis, Noctua’s SSO-Bearing technology has proven itself. It stands for extremely quiet operation and outstanding long-term reliability.
Extremely low current consumption
The NF-P12 PWM consumes only 0.6W, which is 50% less than other PWM fans on the market. This is not only environmentally friendly, it also reduces the electricity bill: compared to a traditional fan (2W), the savings after 5 years of use will pay for half the price of the NF-P12.
Low noise adapter
The NF-P12 PWM is supplied with an L.N.A. adapter that allows the maximum speed to be reduced from 1300 to 900rpm. The L.N.A. adapter can be used to stabilise the fan speed at 900rpm or to limit the speed when using PWM control.
