Description
For an enhanced gaming experience
After the Wii and Wii U, Nintendo continues to transform the way you play video games with the Nintendo Switch OLED. The Switch will allow you to play wherever you want, whenever you want and with whomever you want. Powered by a custom NVIDIA Tegra processor, this system will make your gaming experience even more dynamic and fully interactive. What’s more, unlike the Nintendo Switch, the OLED version has a large 7-inch OLED screen.
In fact, you’ll be able to start a game on the couch and finish it on a bus ride or at a friend’s house. How do you do that? Simply because the Switch connects to a TV, but can also instantly transform into a handheld console with a 7″ screen.
7″ OLED screen
Featuring a large 7-inch OLED touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixel HD resolution, the Nintendo Switch OLED offers intense colours and high contrast for a unique gaming experience in handheld and tabletop mode.
And with its new docking station featuring two USB ports, an HDMI port and an Ethernet port, you can be sure to play comfortably and in the best possible conditions. And that’s not all, with 64 GB of internal memory, you can download your favourite games and play them wherever you want, whenever you want.
A portable home console
With Nintendo Switch OLED, you no longer need to adapt your daily life to be able to play, it’s now your console that adapts to your lifestyle. Get the most out of your gaming experience wherever, whenever, and with whomever you want with flexible game modes. There are three game modes to choose from:
- TV mode: simply connect the console to a TV and play with your family or friends
- Tabletop mode: use the built-in stand to hold the console and play against your friends on the console screen
- Handheld mode: continue playing on the bus or train with the same gameplay experience as on a TV
Incredible grip
The Nintendo Switch OLED has two controllers (Joy-Con) on each side of the console that work together. This opens the door to new forms of gameplay that were previously unattainable. Whether you’re in front of your TV, or at a party with friends, you can detach the Joy-Con from its holder at any time to make it a controller in its own right. This is useful when you want to play against a friend or play cooperatively with them.
What’s more, not only can you hold it vertically or horizontally to play, but you can also use the included wrist straps to take advantage of the Joy-Con’s gyroscope safely. Thevibration function built into the Joy-Con helps to provide an immersive gaming experience that pictures and sound alone can’t replicate.

- Console with grey left and right Joy-Con controller
