TheJBL 260F floorstanding speaker features a 25 mm aluminium dome tweeter with HDI waveguide, and two 165 mm bass-midrange drivers. This serious acoustic configuration can be concealed by a fabric grille. The cabinet of the JBL 260F is finished in a wood veneer that matches the espresso finish of the front panel. At the rear, a double vent overhangs two pairs of terminals, positioned on the lower part of the speaker. One of these is for connecting the amplifier to the Dolby Atmos 240H surround speaker, which is supposed to be fitted to the floorstanding speaker. For practical and aesthetic reasons, an internal cable ‘path’ is traced to a third pair of terminal blocks implemented on the top of the rear panel.This will be connected directly to the 240H – thus significantly limiting the risk of unsightly excess wiring. The spikes of the JBL 260F loudspeaker can be adjusted directly on the top of its base, without having to lift the loudspeaker.
