I’ve received the product and it’s in order. It’s a good processor for a 2024 configuration. I’m very disappointed with LDLC who disrespectfully mishandled this very small, fragile, unprotected INTEL packaging. In the middle of heavy and bulky products (be quiet power supply, 4070 ti graphics card, motherboard) in a large box (with two small pieces of paper as protection for all the components). At €176 per delivery, LDLC has shown no respect for the customer. The packaging for the i5 and the Corsair RAM has suffered and shows signs of bending/pressure. All this despite a total invoice of over €2,000 and numerous previous orders over many years.

The most powerful processor has less than 400€, very powerful but greedy in terms of power, and of TDP, it is necessary to envisage a very good ventirad or watercooler 180w TDP min at 5.3 GHZ.

Mounted on ASUS Prime Z790-A Wifi motherboard. Cooled with a Noctua NH-D15 cooler, which is very efficient and quiet. I can only recommend it.

Bought to replace a 9700k and accompanied by a 4070ti, this CPU does its job well. everything is downright faster and the 0.1% and 1% low FPS are much higher (no more micro stuters) The CPU heats up a bit, but with the right cooling (NHD15) and a well ventilated case, the benchmarks show 75°C at full load on the 20 cores and between 40 and 50°C in the various games @120 fps. (and less hot if you’re playing at 60 fps, as the cpu is also less stressed). It sits on a gigabyte Z790 x gaming with 32gb DDR5 Corsair Cas 30 Xmp and everything is ok after the flash of the bios which arrives in Version 3 (the 14600kf is well managed from version 8)

I’m doing a summary, I never exceed 50 degrees (CPU, CGU, SSD, RAM) in ultra whether on the latest games of 2023 or older games, no lag, always at least 60fps in ultra 4k, cooling impeccable. I can only recommend all the following components: – Intel Core i5-14600KF (3.5 GHz / 5.3 GHz) – be quiet!
