TheICY DOCK ToughArmor MB873MP-B V2 is a rugged 8-bay removable rack for NVMe M.2 SSDs that fits into a single 5.25″ external drive bay. It supports PCIe 4.0 data transfer rates up to 64Gb/s via the OCuLink interface (SFF-8612) and accepts all standard M.2 SSD lengths from 30 to 110 mm (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, 22110).
The ToughArmor MB873MP-B V2 rack simplifies the process of installing or removing the M.2 NVMe SSD by exploiting removable bins that support tool-free installation or removal of SSDs for effortless maintenance.

The ThoughArmor MB873MP-B V2 rack brings M.2 drives to the front of your computer case, simplifying the process of installing and removing M.2 NVMe SSDs.
The ToughArmor MB873MP-B V2 features an M.2 tray mechanism designed for effortless, tool-free drive installation and removal. Simply insert the NVMe M.2 SSD, adjust the M.2 lock until it holds the SSD firmly, then close the lid. The whole process can be completed in less than 10 seconds, saving you valuable time and resources.
Reliability and optimum cooling
Powering up eight M.2 NVMe SSDs simultaneously can build up heat. That’s why ICY DOCK has included two 40x20mm cooling fans, providing a massive amount of airflow throughout the rack to keep the M.2 NVMe SSDs at optimal operating temperatures, even under heavy load. In addition, the specialised thin drive tray is made from thick aluminium and acts as a heat sink to dissipate the heat generated by the M.2 NVMe SSDs.

Designed to withstand harsh environments, the ToughArmor MB873MP-B V2 features a robust, heavy-duty metal shield throughout the unit and platter.
