Supports all lengths of M.2 SSDs
The ToughArmor MB840M2P-B fits all standard M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD lengths including 2230 (30mm), 2242 (42mm), 2260 (60mm) and 22110 (110mm). Its ingenious design ensures a simple and more productive assembly. The entire process takes less than five seconds, eliminating the need to deal with tiny, easily loosened screws and providing an efficient and innovative way to install M.2 SSDs.
True performance and efficient cooling
The ToughArmor MB840M2P-B’s thin tray is made of thick aluminium and acts as a heat sink to dissipate the heat generated by the M.2 NVMe SSD. The included thermal pad fills the gap between the contact surface and transfers the heat from the SSD to the larger surface, allowing the airflow to quickly remove the heat.
Grounding your M.2 SSD is very important. Swapping drives without grounding can damage the drive due to static shock. With ICY DOCK’s innovative tool-free M.2 SSD installation design, the SSD will be grounded throughout the platter and enclosure.
The ToughArmor MB840M2P-B is designed for the PCIe 3.0 x4 slot. It is also compatible with PCIe 3.0 / 4.0 x4, x8 and x16 slots.
