The 100% tool-less, tray-less design means that drive installation and removal is done by hand in seconds, saving you valuable time whether you are a home user, computer specialist, computer repair technician, hard drive duplicator or multimedia workstation editor. A robust all-metal body ensures long product life, better heat dissipation and permanent protection of your sensitive drives. To prevent damage from overheating in active environments, the large user-adjustable cooling fan works with the well-ventilated metal chassis to provide sufficient cooling power.

Hot-swap dock
FlexiDOCK is specially designed for hot-swapping your hard drives. This allows you to perform daily data backups, clone data from one hard drive to another or perform hot-swaps of OS drives. Thanks to the unique design of the docking drive, users can simply insert disks into the FlexiDOCK and begin their tasks. This hot swap capability is effortless as the MB830SP-B is a perfect tool for professionals who need to swap disks on a daily basis.
Metal chassis and maximum cooling efficiency
The all-metal enclosure of the flexiDOCK MB830SP-B protects sensitive hard drives from external forces, thus extending their life.
The heat dissipation properties of the rack, combined with the widely spaced ventilation holes, provide excellent passive cooling capabilities.
For additional cooling performance, the flexiDOCK uses a large 80mm cooling fan with easy access fan speed control, allowing you to choose the best cooling profile for your application. Use a low setting for quiet operation in a personal computer or NAS device. For intensive applications, turn the fan up to a high setting to keep the drives at their optimal safe temperature.
Protecting your drives and your entire system
To prevent the accumulation of dust and debris, which can clog the internal connectors and cause damage, each bay is covered with a spring-loaded dust cover. When installing a drive, simply push in the drive and the dust cover folds effortlessly into the case.
The disc door not only acts as a dust cover, but also as a disc guide mechanism. When inserting the disc, it pushes the door inwards to become parallel to the metal side panel and acts as a disc guide peg and anti-vibration kit. It offers better stability and compatibility for different disc heights and absorbs vibrations caused by HDDs.
Each bay has its own LED light, to alert you to any drive activity. The soft blue LED is easy to see, but not too bright for dark environments.
The flexiDOCK MB830SP-B supports SATA data and power cables with locking latch designs and comes with 3x locking latch SATA data cables. Once connected, these cables will lock and stay in place, protecting against accidental disconnection. The 3 drives are powered by only two power cables, reducing cable clutter. Fewer cables, not only improves aesthetics, but also improves airflow inside your computer, further reducing the temperature of critical components.
