The DSR-1000AC router features dual WAN Gigabit Ethernet ports and four 10/100/1000 ports to ensure high availability of your WAN or Internet connections. It uses the latest generation of wireless performance with the 802.11ac standard. Available in the 5 GHz band, the combination of higher bandwidths provides Wireless AC customers with unmatched data throughput.

Traffic can be balanced between links with outbound volume balancing, increasing performance and availability for business applications. Powerful and comprehensive VPN featuresA full-featured Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides your mobile workers and branch offices with a secure link to your network. The DSR-1000AC router supports Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) VPN tunnels as well as Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) tunnels to allow your mobile users to remotely access a central corporate database. Site-to-site VPN tunnels use IP Security (IPSec), Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) or Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol (L2TP) to facilitate branch office connections over encrypted virtual links. OpenVPN allows mobile users to connect to the intranet via encrypted links with their computer, laptop or mobile devices. |  |
