Description
The D-Link DAP-1360 is a wireless access point that complies with the IEEE 802.11n standard. By connecting the DAP-1360 to a broadband router, you will be able to share your wireless broadband Internet access and create a secure wireless network to share photos, files, music, video, printers and storage devices.
Linux platform
Using the Realtek RTL8186 chipset, the DAP-1360 can be upgraded with custom firmware based on the supplied SDK. This allows programmers to make full use of the 2MB Flash memory and 16MB SDRAM to include the advanced features of their choice.
With Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) technology, you can configure your wireless security system at the touch of a button.
The DAP-1360 can be configured to function as an access point to serve as a central hub for wireless users, an access point client to connect to another access point, a workgroup bridge to connect two wireless workgroups, a workgroup bridge with an access point to serve as a wireless hub and bridge at the same time, and a repeater to extend wireless coverage to all “dead zones”.
