To deliver a true-to-life sound experience, it features a semi-virtual 7.1 surround system with 4 speakers (30/40mm) in each earcup to pinpoint the source of noise. In addition, it features a high-quality Supreme FX DAC for powerful and balanced sound. The microphone features a unique artificial intelligence noise reduction system and can be removed from the headset if necessary. The Aura Sync RGB backlighting adds a splash of colour to the package, and the earpads are designed to provide maximum comfort.
Enhanced 7.1 SOn Surround
Theta’s advanced spatialization system makes it possible to maximise efficiency and immersion in your favourite games. Instead of using a single amplifier for the entire headset, it draws power from four ESS 9601 amplifiers. With 8 drivers (between 30 and 40 mm) in total, the sound delivered is rich and well-balanced, especially with the help of the SupremeFX S1220A DAC.
And to take things a step further, the Armory II software contains a number of advanced settings such as bass adjustment or the creation of separate user profiles.
Sound and Light Show
The Theta 7.1 features subtle RGB lighting on its shells, where you can see the ROG logo illuminated according to your preference. Choose from 16.8 million colours and no less than 3 operating modes to achieve a visual effect that suits you. In addition, Aura Sync compatibility gives you the ability to synchronise the headset’s RGB with that of your other compatible components and peripherals to provide a consistent look.
