At launch, these X3D models suffered a few setbacks. Now, the various motherboard manufacturers have adapted well to these products. Don’t forget to update your BIOS! Mounted on an MSI Tomahawk X670E motherboard and equipped with a Noctua NH-U12A Chromax Black for production and gaming use (Microsoft Flight Simulator), with numerous applications running in the background, my RTX 4080 is at ease. I hesitated with the 7800X3D, but ended up preferring the 7900X3D version, which offers a clock boost and more cores, for greater flexibility in productive non-gaming tasks, such as Blender or video editing. Ultimately, with the announced release of MSFS 2024, which should be better optimised for multithreading, I don’t think I’ll regret this choice. Excellent processor AMD. There are better ones out there for a bit more money, but they do the job, and more than adequately.

I went from an r3 3600, to this one …a phenomenal difference, I haven’t done an oc yet, but no need for the moment, I highly recommend it :D, dark with your eyes closed (Without taking you to the wall eh!)
