Performance is in line with AMD’s 7000 series, i.e. very good. But they heat up, so they’re not recommended for a “quiet” configuration. Or maybe you should go for the non-x 7600s.

I haven’t done a performance benchmark, but the CPU is settling in well and responding normally. No overheating or bugs so far. The advantage of this model is that it’s sold without a ventirad as standard, which means you don’t have to waste a ventirad that’s unsuitable for gaming.

A very convincing latest-generation CPU for a gamer configuration. You will need to pay attention to its power consumption and therefore to the power supply required. For a gamer configuration, provided you have a relatively powerful graphics card, an 850W power supply will be necessary. It may be advisable to activate the ECO mode on this CPU, for a sharp reduction in power consumption and heat output with a fairly small reduction in performance. Very interesting to configure. This mode is not active as standard. For cooling, a watercooling kit is recommended. Note that in my case, my old kit (a Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240) was still compatible, as indicated on the manufacturer’s website (https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/pages/cooling/we-are-ready-for-your-amd-am5-socket/#!). Find out about your current kit before buying a new one, as it’s very likely that the old one is compatible, although this is not indicated in the latest documentation.

Very good processor, it doesn’t seem to heat up excessively, in my case it’s cooled by an AIO Artic 240.

The AMD Ryzen 5 7600X has truly transformed my computing experience. After using a configuration that was just over 5 years old, upgrading to this processor has been a revelation. With base speeds of 4.7 GHz and boosted to 5.3 GHz, it delivers incredibly smooth and fast performance. Whether it’s gaming, multitasking or intensive work, it handles it all with remarkable ease. The difference is truly spectacular; everything is faster and more responsive, and loading times are considerably reduced. What’s more, the increase in power is evident even in the most demanding tasks. Not only has this processor modernised my setup, it’s also taken my user experience to the next level. If you’re looking to give your PC a boost, the Ryzen 5 7600X is a compelling choice. I’m extremely pleased with this upgrade!

Recently switched to AMD after 20+ years with Intel. I am not disappointed with this processor. I use it for gaming only. The Intel on this generation remain globally more versatile and interesting for other types of uses more varied although sometimes more expensive according to the models for the little perf in more gaming according to the models. But if your goal is gaming above all, it remains a good choice because it is less expensive and performs better in games than most Intel products of the same range.
