Description
Uncompromised performance for all
The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor (3.6 GHz / 4.2 GHz) is one of the first PC processors to be etched in 7 nm and to support the PCIe 4.0 interface. The third-generation Ryzen, codenamed Matisse, impresses with 6 cores and 12 threads, a base frequency of 3.6 GHz that can be increased to 4.2 GHz and 32 MB of L3 cache and only 65W of TDP!
AMD’s Ryzen 5 3600 offers a (re)discovery of high-end performance for gaming, content creation and intensive multitasking. With its 12 threads and a 35MB GameCache, double the cache offered by the second generation Ryzen 5, it allows you to do EVERYTHING faster and more fluidly.
Zen 2 Microarchitecture
The Zen 2 cores are designed to make efficient use of available resources to optimise computational performance. Compared to the previous architecture, 2X floating point capabilities and up to 15% higher instructions per cycle enable performance to reach new thresholds. Zen 2 combines performance for next-generation applications with optimal energy efficiency.
6 native cores and 12 logical cores
The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 desktop processor offers 6 native and 12 logical cores for smooth multitasking. Thanks to its high native frequency and its Turbo Core mode, the third-generation AMD Ryzen CPU delivers exceptional performance in gaming, intensive multitasking, video editing, 3D modeling and more. The 32MB L3 cache also enables ultra-fast processing of large numbers of instructions with low latency.
Key Features :
- Frequency: 3.6 GHz / 4.2 GHz (Turbo Core)
- 6 cores / 12 threads
- 35 MB GameCache (32 MB L3 + 3 MB L2)
- Socket AMD AM4
- Memory controller : Dual Channel DDR4
- Engraving : 7nm FinFET

Powerful processor, before I had the Ryzen 5 1600 AF and I changed for the Ryzen 5 3600 , 2 times more powerful almost 🙂 – I recommend ^^

I’ve been using it for gaming for two years now, and it works very well – its frequency and number of cores are more than enough to run any game.

A very powerful processor at a very low price, giving you a gaming PC at a very reasonable price.

LDLC very professional and very fast, arrived in great condition. I am very sastisfait really. I highly recommend.

Does the job, nothing to say. delivered in a simple transparent box. no fan. simple installation.
by MaximeD –
Quality and price. I chose this processor for games. And it does the job. I can therefore recommend it. Be careful though, there’s no ventirad with it.
by FlorentF –
High-performance processor, all the silicon is used for computing, no integrated GPU, no fan included in the packaging. Pure computing power. And incidentally, very good value for money.

Fast and careful delivery, top product! works perfectly! Despite its age, it’s still got it!

I ordered a ryzen 5 3600 which arrived with a bent pine. I had to straighten it at the risk of breaking it not cool and not even compensation from the site the version without fan leaked bad packaging

Ryzen 5 3600 coupled with an RTX 2060 I run all my games with pleasant quality, there is not too big a difference with the next generation cpu (unless you want to play in 4K or 240fps constant). **WARNING** CPU in basic setting heats up too much with any ventirad, I strongly advise you to undervolve it on the “Ryzen Master” software. My settings : 4,0Ghz all cores Voltage (in volts): 1.03125 Does not exceed 70°C even in stress test and on cyberpunk2077 in ultra

Works perfectly if you can control the beast, because depending on the motherboard if the settings are aggressive this CPU will not hesitate to overheat. So get an adequate ventirad and a well ventilated case. And don’t be afraid to mess with the bios 🙂

Well packaged, works great for a lower price, having a watercooler at my disposal buying the processor in this form was a good choice.

Excellent processor! More than sufficient for most applications. Suitable for the ARK dev kit. Recognised as normal by my MSI B450 A PRO motherboard after bios update.

Buy to replace my old FX-6300, compiling packages under Gentoo-Linux is lightning fast. I can play games, run virtual machines, I’m happy.

When I placed my order, I was convinced that I was ordering a processor in original packaging and therefore brand new. I think I received a second-hand processor for a brand new price from other sellers… I will not attempt this type of order again…

Very professional LDLC site and fast delivery, product arrived in great condition. I am very sastisfait really. Highly recommend.

Very good and powerful, perfect for a small gamer PC and easy to install on the card. Despite some fears during installation, everything went very smoothly.

For the speed of dispatch and the fair prices with the option of collection from a left-luggage office. Thank you

The RYZEN 5 3600, a processor with incredible value for money. With 6 cores and a frequency starting at 3.6 GHZ, it’s currently the cheapest and most powerful processor I’ve been able to find. ( currently at 77.95e ) on LDLC, and much more expensive elsewhere, it also remains more affordable than the Intel competitor.

Product as ordered Perfect for what I want to use it for. I would recommend

I bought this Ryzen 3600 series processor because my old Ryzen was not compatible with Windows 11. I flashed the wood on my MSI Gaming Plus AC B450i motherboard and replaced it with this new processor. I was then able to upgrade to Windows 11 free of charge the next day following Microsoft’s offer. What’s more, it was at the best price at LDLC. Thank you

This order (AMD Ryzen5 3600) went very smoothly from the website to receipt of the equipment: reliable information, secure payment, excellent follow-up, reliable packaging and operational product. Very professional.

Ah, the good old 3600! I bought it as part of a CM B450 + DDR4 memory kit on 31/12/19 and even four years later, it’s still doing the job. Irreproachable for multimedia and perfectly capable for 1080p gaming. It consumes next to nothing and does the job perfectly on a mini-ITX motherboard at a fraction of the cost of the Intel equivalent (Core i5 10400F + B560). I assembled it on an AsRock B550M-ITX/AC, which already has a Vega graphics chipset in case the graphics card fails, as there is no graphics controller unlike the G version. I’m familiar with the ventirad that was sold by default, the Wraith Stealth in the aforementioned kit, and I’m quite happy that it’s being sold without it, as it’s so inefficient in games. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey made it crash when it exceeded 100°C. I opted for a Noctua NH-L9A-AM4 instead, and it runs smoothly at 60~70°C on HellDivers 2 in Low combined with an RTX 3050 at 60fps.
