Thanks to its phase-detection autofocus, the Lumix S5II is able to recognise and follow the subject in particularly difficult scenes where multiple subjects are involved, ensuring accuracy even in backlit or dimly lit environments.So you can be sure you’re shooting professionally.
The Lumix S5II ‘s new active image stabilisation lets you shoot hand-held with complete peace of mind. Because it determines the camera’s shake status and optimises correction ratios, Active Image Stabilisation can compensate for even severe camera shake – around 200% more than conventional systems.
Heat management for unlimited recording time
The Lumix S5II lets you enjoy unlimited recording time in 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p. With a compact body equivalent to the S5, the Lumix S5II’s new optimised heat dissipation structure allows long recording times even when shooting in demanding formats. (For example, in high-resolution video above 4K or in HFR video).
The new processor ensures more realistic colours, finer resolution and a natural three-dimensional effect. Combined with Dual Native ISO technology, it effectively suppresses noise, even when shooting at very high sensitivities, and renders dark areas magnificently.
Intuitive handling
With the Lumix S5II, you canrecord photos and videos with LUTs internally, without any special software. Even if you don’t have any specific editing skills, the camera lets you expand your field of expression as much as you like.
This camera can be used in a wide range of weather conditions. Its tough, cast magnesium alloy body and waterproof joints, knobs and buttons make it resistant to dust and splashes.
The knobs and buttons are intuitively arranged throughout the casing. The 8-way joystick lets you select the focus area quickly and efficiently directly with your thumb, for fast shooting.
