It has been engineered to the same exacting standards. EVO CD extracts every musical detail from your discs, then transmits it seamlessly to EVO. Your CD collection is now ready to join the hi-fi evolution.
Precision engineered for the best sound
Evo CD uses the new S5 servo, an improvement on the famous S3 found in the CXC. It features even greater speed accuracy and music data retrieval than its predecessor. EVO CD doesn’t use a general-purpose disc player, but a piece of engineering custom-designed for the sole purpose of playing audio CDs with flawless precision.
TheEvo CD ‘s sole function is to spin discs to transmit precise musical information to the EVO, which allows it to have a minimalist design: with a single button on the dashboard, to open/close the metal CD drawer. Everything else is controlled by the Evo remote control or the StreamMagic app on your smart device. CD album art and track information are beautifully displayed on the EVO’s 6.8″ colour screen.
