 | Performance firstWith 19 action buttons, the control stick features extreme precision thanks to the use of H.E.A.R.T. magnetic sensor technology. The buttons and triggers on this control stick are operated with the same force as in a real aircraft. In addition, it has a removable base to allow the joystick to be fixed in a cockpit without having to use the metal plate. The Thrustmaster HOTA WARTHOG has a specific dual throttle system for independent control of two engines: a locking system allows the two handles to be linked together or not. The magnetic sensor technology used in this part of the system also provides unparalleled precision. The “Idle” and “Afterburner” positions are set via a Pull and Push system for even more realism. The Afterburner is disengageable, which makes it possible to adapt perfectly to the type of aircraft being flown. The control panel, the last mechanical component of the product, is particularly complete. It includes a friction wheel for manual adjustment of throttle resistance to suit the user. It also has a backlighting system for the functions, which is very useful in night flights, and five programmable indicator lights. The base has fifteen action buttons including numerous push buttons with a hardness identical to that of the real aircraft and industrial metal switches(2 or 3 positions) with very realistic pressure. |
An innovative and powerful softwareThe fatal weapon of the HOTAS WARTHOG joystick is called T.A.R.G.E.T(Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor). This is a software suite that allows the creation of programs of varying degrees of complexity using only the mouse, following a “drag and drop” principle. Several levels of programming are offered: “Basic” for beginners, “Advanced” to exploit advanced functions and finally “Script” to exploit the full power of the software. T.A.R.G.E.T. allows for total interaction between different Thrustmaster USB controllers, simplified configurations in the simulators, and the use of a single profile for all controllers rather than as many profiles as there are controllers. Finally, and this is a definite advantage, T.A.R.G.E.T. includes predefined profiles for famous titles, both recent and older, and moreover allows the creation of new profiles! |  |
