In the CD 60, the proprietary HDAM circuitry has been optimised over its previous version by placing the components symmetrically on the audio board to create the most direct signal path possible. This evolution improves the soundstage rendering compared to previous models to achieve the “Most Musical Sound”.
The CD 60’s power supply uses high-speed, high-current Schottky barrier diodes, high-capacity, high-current storage capacitors, and greatly improved voltage regulators compared to previous models. The oversized power supply capacitors improve current stability and reduce noise during the most demanding listening sessions.
The CD 60 offers you the ability to play high-resolution USB audio sources. It can play MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF (up to 24-bit/192kHz) and DSD (up to 5.6MHz) files from a connected USB storage device.
