The Canon EOS R8 is a hybrid camera with a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor. It features the DIGIC X image processor and allows for burst capture at up to 40 frames per second. It has an extended ISO range with a maximum sensitivity of ISO 102,400 for exceptional shots even in low light.
In addition to photography, this hybrid also performs well in video with its built-in 5-axis stabiliser. The 5-axis stabiliser will work closely with the lens stabiliser if the lens has one. This allows you to shoot professional quality movies with 4K resolution at up to 60p and up to 120 fps in Full HD.
CMOS Dual PIxel AF II
With its powerful autofocus, this Canon EOS R8 hybrid camera lives up to your expectations. Its Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus system tracks moving subjects accurately and efficiently. It is capable of quickly detecting faces and eyes on both humans and animals. It focuses very quickly and in dark environments (-6.5 EV).

Comfortable to hold, the Canon EOS R8 offers optimal shooting conditions with its adjustable touchscreen and 2.36 million dot OLED viewfinder. There are also intuitive controls to follow your artistic desires and a UHS-II SD card slot to save your best work.
Finally, with its wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, this model is great for viewing and sharing your photos from a mobile device (via the Canon Camera Connect app).
