The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is an evolution of the Model B with some additional features and functionalities that are very useful in everyday life. The Broadcom BCM2837B0 processor is 200 Mhz faster than its predecessor for even faster and smoother calculations. Special attention has been paid to the thermal dissipation of the Pi 3 B+ so that performance is optimised even when the temperature rises. All Raspberry Pi 3 B accessories remain compatible with this new iteration.
Improved network connectivityThe strong point of this new version of the Raspberry Pi 3 is its network connectivity. Indeed, the Cypress network chip of the B+ model combines Bluetooth 4.2 and Dual Band AC Wi-Fi for greater speed and less latency. Wired connectivity is not left out, as you can benefit from a Gigabit Ethernet controller, which is three times more bandwidth than the previous generation! You can also power your Raspberry Pi 3 B+ with PoE (module not supplied) for greater compatibility and flexibility. The rest of the components and connectors remain the same, you will find the 40 pin GPIO header, the connectors for a touch screen and a camera and of course the 4 USB 2.0 ports.
