Wide range of lenses and new image sensor for more speed
The Sony DSC-RX100 VII features a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar lens with a 24-200mm (35mm equivalent) focal length range and a maximum aperture of f/2.8-4.5. Enjoy maximum resolution and high-quality clarity for sumptuous shots.
The optical system includes four AA (Advanced Aspherical) and two ED (Extra Low Dispersion) glass lenses that work together to deliver superb resolution right to the edge of the image, throughout the telephoto range.
This model also features a 20.1 megapixel CMOS 1.0 stacked sensor with a DRAM chip and the BIONZ X image processing engine. For all your creative aspirations, this camera has an optical SteadyShot stabiliser with a shutter speed of 4 steps at a focal length of 200mm.

The DSC-RX100 VII offers a total of 357 focal plane phase detection AF points, covering a total of 68% of the frame. This is complemented by 425 contrast detection AF points and the world’s fastest acquisition time of 0.02 seconds. With the 8x optical zoom, you’ll never miss a detail.
And AF/AE tracking will allow you to capture up to 24 frames per second. Stable continuous shooting of moving subjects will ensure you get sharp shots every time.
